1. Plow Mounting |
¨ç
Drive a tractor backward to the front
of plow and then brake it. Push adjust lever of horizontal axis
to connect it with the body of sub-link, and then insert a pin.
At this time, three points connection part of tractor should
be put down entirely and sub-link of tractor should be fit exactly
to the connection part of plow. |
¨è
Adjust the handle of right leveling
box of the tractor to the right sub-link to fit the sub-link
in it and then insert a pin. |
¨é
Lastly, insert and attach the upper
link into the main sideboard. At this time, you can adjust the
length of the upper link to attach it freely. And check the
location for the pin of three points connection part not to
make the ring of pin would not fall downward. |
¨ê
Run the hydraulic lever of the tractor
slowly and carefully so that any damage occurs on the plow blade.
Adjust the tractor check lane so as to it has some room at the
time of plow work while supported without any shake at the time
of being raised. |
2. Adjustment and Maintenance of Metacenter
The metacenter is adjusted by a screw
and automatically maintained by a draw load adjusting apparatus
after tractor hydraulic lever is adjusted. |
If the plow continues to dig deeply,
it is required to put up the hydraulic lever up to the upper
part and then put down again. |
Adjust the upper link so as to the
left, right, front and the rear of the plow becomes level. |
Adjust the leveling box handle to
maintain level plow of uniform metacenter. The upper link is
used to adjust the whole depth of the plow and the adjusting
changes the level of the right and left, so you should always
adjust the leveling handle. |
When the length of upper link is
shortened, the leveling rod should be also shortened, while
the link is lengthened, the rod should be also lengthened, so
always careful adjusting is required. |
3. Adjusting of the Width
The width of the plow should be adjusted
according to hydraulic cylinder. It can be used when the plow
leans to one side or when starting or finishing the work. The
uniform width can be maintained because it is worked in accordance
with the soil condition, or the direction of the slope. |
The width of the plow for single/both
side use should be adjusted with width adjusting bolt or nut. |
4. Operation and Safety
¨ç
For the stop condition, the tractor
should be perfectly stopped to which prop is used and the plow
must not be raised. |
¨è
Before running the plow, you must
confirm that there is no person around. You should care about
the rapid speed of the plow end when it is operated and you
should be careful for it. |
¨é
When drive it on a road, connect
the pedals of right and left brakes and fix the hydraulic lever
as described on the directions for use not to make any accident
occur while driving it. |
¨ê
When the work is finished, it is
better to keep the plow separately from the tractor and put
it on a prop so as to gets it off from the ground. |
¨ë
When starting it after having attached
the plow, abrupt speeding can make the front part of the tractor
lifted. |
¨ì
If the upper link is too long, the
plow could not be penetrated well into the soil, causing lots
of loss of traction, while if it is too short, plowing work
becomes not uniform, causing lots of abrasion of the plowshare
and it becomes difficult to adjust lower traction, and the first
row is set up sideward due to its too deep depth and the turning
over becomes impossible. |
¨í
If the plow and the tractor are not
in the level condition and the abrasion of plowshare is not
uniform, it means that the furrow is not even. |
¨î |
If exact metacenter is not maintained,
check if the report rod of the tractor fully comes down. |
¨ï
The safety pin (part no. 237-1-022
and 237-3-032) could be cut off during the operation due to
a shock by a rock. In case of this, the pin should be replaced
with new one. |
5. Plow Separation and Maintenance |
¨ç
When the working is finished, turn
off the engine and brake to separate the plow as follows |
¨è
Put down the plow on a level and
hard ground. At this time, use a supporter for the working. |
¨é
Remove the upper link. |
¨ê
Adjust the leveling box to stand
the plow up and then remove the sub-rink at right side. |
¨ë
When removing the plow, there must
not be any person between the plow and the tractor. |
¨ì |
Keep the plow in a good condition
through periodic inspection and screwing its bolts or nuts. |
¨í
After washing and drying the mould
board, lubricate it with engine or mission oil for rusting prevention. |
